SmartSubscription

Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of the SmartSubscription app (“the app”), made by Timeskip (Phong Tran; “we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. They sit alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to apps from the App Store.

Licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.

The one-time purchase

The free version lets you track a limited number of subscriptions. A one-time in-app purchase removes that limit. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The purchase is sold and processed by Apple, and the price is shown in the app before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. You can restore the purchase on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

No financial advice

The app helps you keep a record of your subscriptions and what they cost. It does not give financial, tax or legal advice. Totals, currency conversions and reminders are estimates to help you plan, not statements from your providers or your bank.

Scanning accuracy

Invoice scanning reads text on your device and fills in a form for you to check. It can misread names, amounts, currencies or dates. Please review every scanned entry before saving it. We do not guarantee that scanning results are correct.

Your data

Your data lives on your device and, if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own iCloud account. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your own backups, for example with iCloud or the CSV export. We cannot recover data for you because we never hold a copy. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Reminders

Renewal reminders depend on your device's notification settings and on the dates you enter. A missed or late reminder does not make us responsible for a charge from your provider.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed cancellations or unexpected charges. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. These terms end automatically if you break them; if they do, you must stop using the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
